Customer Onboarding is a important for maintaining a long time and healthy relationship with clients.
This step is considered as Anti-Business as it delays the process of booking a revenue, the sooner you onboard a customer the sooner the sale transaction can be completed. Having said that a bad customer can have severe consequences and can also lead to damaging the reputation of the company.
The process of onboarding a customer can be long and cumbersome and includes a lot of paper work requiring the customer to submit a number of identity documents. The onboarding process includes verification of the customer information as well the documents.

Once the data is extracted the ICILtek BOT screens the data against public watchlists which can be accessed via API or webservices.. The results against the matches can be displayed to the agent to act as a checker. In general Screening undertaken via Names and since there can be multiple results against a name the process requires for agent to make a judgement call.
Most countries have a centralized database of addresses. It is against this database that the BOT needs to verify the address of the customer.
Once the result of the verification comes out positive the next step is activation of service. The BOT activates the service by entering the relevant details of the customer in the application marking it as active. The BOT then sends a notification to the customer by way of email or SMS to the customer. For activation of a service like telephone line and internet the BOT intimates the Operations team for installation.
